Oualie Beach Restaurant

About Restaurant: Oualie Beach Bar & Restaurant is open from 7.15am to 10pm serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week and all year round. Cuisine focuses on fresh seafood using both local Caribbean flavours and international specialties. Local fruits are used to make in house drinks, sorbets and desserts. The restaurant is famous for Karen’s conch chowder and Chef Ricky’s fish pie. The Oualie traditional rum punch recipe was written down by Mrs H. Graham Yearwood in the late 1800’s, an ancestor of the current owners.Oualie is one of the few restaurants that still offer live music. Tuesday nights are an absolute must with a jam session from 7-10 pm featuring an ecclectic combination of Jazz, Rock, Country and Reggae. Visiting musicians are encouraged to join in. In the busy Winter season there is usually a Lobster BBQ lunch on Sundays with live steel pan music followed by a jazz band.
