Little has been done to Canecão’s décor to set it apart from the typical London boozer, so it says a lot for the atmosphere that the space feels so vibrantly authentic no matter the time of year or time of day. Extremely affordable, the Canecão menu is surprisingly sophisticated with, it goes without saying, plenty of exotic flair. All of the food on offer is typical of a Rio restaurant, from the seafood stews to the sweet, homely desserts. A highlight of any evening at Canecão is the cocktail list, a rum-centric collection of party time favourites.
