Taking over the old Il Baretto site on Blandford Street opposite Chiltern Firehouse this sees head chef Simone Serafini running the show having previously been Head Chef of Cecconi’s Mayfair and 5 Hertford Street.Simone’s inspirational trawl around the Mediterranean sees him taking dishes from both Italy and Morocco so dishes might include lobster spaghetti or lamb tagine. The deserts are a MUST – especially the Bella Bougatsa!For drinks you could start with a “Ghost of Mary” or a “5pm Somewhere” in the cocktail bar. The wine list roams through Portugal, France and Italy.
