About Restaurant: The Penney Restaurant & Bar on Desert Island is temporarily closed for the summer. We look forward to welcoming guests back in October. Our public golf course remains open all summer. Our team recently won five awards in Palm Springs Life Magazine ‘Best Of The Best’ 2023 Awards, including Best Fine Dining, Best Farm-to-table, and Best Bar.The Penney Restaurant & Bar features an impressive Rare-Spirits Library, sunken horseshoe bar and an indoor/outdoor dining room with spectacular sunset views overlooking the lake and mountains.Guests are very welcome to arrive in advance of their reservation, to enjoy a cocktail at the bar or in the lounge before dining.A private dining room is also available.Also located within the ‘Desert Island’ clubhouse, ‘Parlour’ is a separate space. A beautiful, eclectic cocktail bar, music lounge and games room that inspires glamour and mischief. Available for private hire events.
