About Restaurant: Chef Vicente Torres and Moxi from Hotel Matilda are rewriting a new history of gastronomy in San Miguel de Allende together. Vicente Torres, a Michelin-starred chef in Spain, joins the Moxi team at the invitation of Mr. Bruce James, presenting a high cuisine concept with Mediterranean touches. The inspiration for Moxi’s menu comes from the environment, from small producers who, for me, are artisans and a fundamental part of our team. From organic gardens, their colors, aromas. I like to define the type of cuisine as product-based, with Mediterranean touches. We seek to have the best product in order to offer the best experience to our diners, so they can enjoy it in a unique setting like Moxi.
